A Gathering

Lisa and I did have a party on Saturday. A Start-Of-The-Summer party, which was rather foolish/optimistic of us given the weather this weekend. Still people did come and eat and drink and talk until the early hours of the morning. And there was Pimms. And Cocktails. Lots of cocktails. And Lisa's homemade lime cheesecake. And a boat-load of Damson gin.

Sunday, unsurprisingly. was rather foggy and lethargic. But it was worth it. Oh yes.

Sorry about missing the party. Time got away from me and by the time the show finished and I'd had dinner it was too late. Hope you had a good time.

No problem, Juice - how was the show?

The sounds were good but i thought they could have done various things better. Like the romance between the captain and maria or the fear and tension of the graveyard scene. First half was very good though.

sorry i means the songs were good. But they could ahve made this great had they just worked on the other aspects fo the production.

I've not seen it myself. I could always take or leave the film and the whole Maria TV show thing put me off even further - glad you enjoyed it though.

Does that mean she liked it?

I think she was talking about the party, not the Sound of Music - Lisa was a little worse for wear the next morning, something to do with all that damson gin perhaps?
